Welcome to Goorizi. We build lightweight browser-based mini-games that run locally in the user's browser. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices regarding that data. Goorizi is committed to protecting your privacy and minimizing data collection.
Some games include optional free-text fields (for player names) or settings that are stored locally in your browser's storage. We do not collect or transmit these values to a server unless you explicitly use a feature that shares them (for example: an upload, submit, or online leaderboard feature). If you enable those features, we will provide clear prompts and explain what data will be sent.
To keep the experience simple and fast, the site uses browser storage (localStorage or IndexedDB) for non-identifying information such as:
This data stays on your device until you clear your browser data. The site may also use small, non-tracking cookies only where necessary to maintain UI state or preferences if a browser doesn't support localStorage.
If you self-host or the site is served from a hosting provider, standard server logs (IP addresses, request timestamps) may be recorded by the hosting service for security and uptime monitoring. We do not use server logs to profile players. If any third-party analytics or A/B testing tools are added in the future, this policy will be updated and the presence of those services will be disclosed.
We use the minimal data necessary to:
At present, Goorizi does not embed third-party advertising networks that track users across sites. If this changes, we will provide notice here and in the site UI so you can opt out or make an informed choice.
You can clear local scores and settings by clearing your browser's localStorage/data for this site or by using any built-in UI controls provided on the site for resetting scores and preferences.
If you choose to share a score or upload content (for example to a leaderboard or feedback form), you'll be asked explicitly and shown what data will be shared. Only data you confirm will be transmitted.
We follow reasonable security practices for the code and hosting used to serve this site. Because many games run entirely in the browser and do not require an account, the primary security responsibility rests with the hosting provider and your device. Avoid sharing sensitive personal information in game name fields or public feedback forms.
Goorizi is family-friendly and suitable for children. The site does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If a parent or guardian believes information about their child has been collected, they can contact us to request removal of that information.
Some pages may include links to external websites (image credits, resources). We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those external sites. Please review their privacy policies when visiting them.
We may update this policy occasionally to reflect changes in the site or legal requirements. Substantive changes will include an updated effective date at the top of the page. We recommend checking this page periodically.
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or would like to request data removal or deletion of local records, please contact: goorizi@goorizi.com
Thanks for playing responsibly — we value your privacy and do our best to keep the experience safe and private.
